National Event in August
Program designed to help individuals who rescue animals - whether they
rescue 1 per year or 60 per year.
Promotes education for the rescuer and those who adopt.
Includes Spay / Neuter Vouchers, Discounts on pet food, Posting of Pets on our website,
and more.
Volunteers help transport pets to their new homes or into rescue across the
country.
Animal Welfare, Inc. also performs home checks for any rescue group.
Program started in 1993.
Volunteers take pets from Animal Control to local stores to help get them
adopted.
This is a kit designed to help anybody who must find a home for their
pet or any animal that they have taken in and rescued. The kit contains tips on screening,
words of encouragement, sample placement contract, and other information to help in finding
good responsible homes.
Limited financial help for emergencies.
Program is limited to available funds and to each situation.
Volunteers answer over 500 calls each month from the community.
Approved by Caddo and Bossier Parishes for K-2
Available to teachers.
Animal Welfare, Inc. has a library of information on various pet subjects
that is available to the public.
Promotes that EVERY pet wears an I.D. Tag at all times !
Animal Welfare, Inc. helps pay for training of ACO's and helps supply needed
equipment to local shelters.
